How do I begin?
Right. By the time I post this, many of you would have found out/heard about me being at IJC. Just so you don't stalk me for more info on FB, let me enlighten you.
I am an Innovian now.
Today is my fourth day in IJC. Things have been really magical. Really. Everything fell into place the moment I stepped into IJC.
Chapter 1: The part where I tell you about the people, their names, the school, the bahansss.. etc
Innova JC, along with MJC are the two youngest JC in S'pore. On Day 1, we were grouped accordingly into four main houses. They are:
Taurus,
Aquila,
Rasalas, and
Sagittarius. I'm in Sagi along with Ilyas. We were further grouped into sub-groups, mine being Skorichenko(i always think its the name of some Ukranian assasin). We had to sing the N-anthem, and lemme tell u one thing, it's nothing like MAA. Not een close. We were practically whispering the whole song while the speaker booms loudly. Wahh.. Thhen we did the pledge, and then. I made my first friend. His name's Vincent, from Boon Lay Sec. He's the same age as me, rich, plays basketball, and reminds me of Jay Chou. Then on, we proceed to the hall; very big, air-conditioned, and bright. My HGLs were Fatin and Sufyan(he calls himself Josh).
The school welcomed us with open arms and gave us a talk on IJC, it was pretty enli We then played games with our repective Comets(sub-groups). Then we really got to know each other, we had a dancer, quiet ones, CHIJ girl, Girl who loves Red, a korean, a JB-an, Indonss and ya..in total we had about 13 people. We introduced ourselves by nicknames, mine being CHICKEN SOUP. My other group members are: Metalbutt(Vincent), Guitar boy, Red(Valerie), Evan, CJ, Spy, Lily, Motorbike, Jamie, Apple, and afew weirder ones I can't recall..
Then..
We had mass dance.
Damn.
I can't dance.
I won't dance.
Ever.
Or so I thought.
We sorta followed the beat to Sean Kingston's song, the HGLs taught us moves, and boys were pushed to one side and the girls the other. When I thought the worse is over.....
They paired us up.
One girl approached me, I ran away!
Really. No way am I gonna dance with some random girl whom I just saw once and have ponytails that looks more like pigtails.
Okay. I'm exaggerating.
But well, I did slip away and went outta the hall and did my prayers.
Alhamdulillah.
Still a muslim, and an MAA student at heart.
My hands are getting numb with all this typing. I'll continue tomorrow laa..
Lights Out!
